S. Craig George, author of On God's Path: The Unfolding Story of Humanity

Craig George has degrees in both science and theology. He holds Bachelor of Science and professional engineering degrees from Missouri University of Science and Technology. This scientific background launched him into a first career focused on engineering and earth sciences in the petroleum industry. He held a number of technical and executive positions with international oil companies which both kept him abreast of the leading edges of science and afforded him the opportunity to experience the culture of many faith traditions.

After early retirement from his first career related to science, he turned his attention to theology. He earned a Masters Degree in Theology and Certificate in Biblical studies from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. Since then, Mr. George has engaged in a variety of writing projects including publication in a spectrum of newspaper, magazine and online media. He works in Adult Faith Formation in his home parish and currently chairs the Parish Section of the Catholic Library Association of Greater St. Louis.

With a first career in engineering and a second in theology, Mr. George is uniquely qualified to write about convergences between science and religion. On God's Path, published in 2010, is his first book. He continues to write on a broad range of theological topics and is active in a number of organizations including the Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He lives in the St. Louis area.
